On Thursday October 17th, the following full day workshops will be offered (onsite only).
Model Once, Configure Anywhere in Practice: Integration from Requirements in SAP PLM to configurable product in Commerce Cloud - hosted by AllforOne
Join us to explore the practical application of the "Model Once, Configure Anywhere" principle. This workshop guides you through the entire process: starting with capturing and managing requirements in SAP PLM, moving to design in SAP, and mapping features in CAD systems. Learn how to efficiently create and integrate new models and features into SAP PLM, then seamlessly configure them in the SAP Commerce Cloud. The workshop concludes with managing configurable products in the Commerce Cloud. Gain practical insights and valuable tools to optimize your end-to-end processes and enhance the efficiency of your variant configuration. Additionally, there will be an interactive workshop segment focusing on Requirement Engineering and Collaboration. This workshop will be interactive, so you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Requirement Engineering and Collaboration in SAP PLM.

AVC - Transformation of your Data from LO-VC to AVC - hosted by SAP
The transformation from LO-VC to AVC is a separate project that should be divided into several phases. One of the critical questions is which approach to use (greenfield vs. brownfield vs. bluefield).
This interactive workshop addresses these issues and describes the project phases, taking into account the different approaches. The specifics of various SAP deployment types (On-Premise, Private Cloud, Public Cloud) will also be discussed. Furthermore, the workshop will cover how a gradual transformation with parallel use of LO-VC and AVC can be implemented . Using an example, the AVC transformation tool and the individual steps of the transformation will be demonstrated in detail. The possibility of pre-checking LO-VC for its transformability will also be highlighted. To conclude, some practical LO-VC modeling guidelines will be provided to make the transformation as simple as possible. These can already be implemented in the LO-VC models in the ECC. |
AVC - Modeling with New Syntax and Best Practices - hosted by SAP
AVC is based on a constraint solver to evaluate the object dependencies. But what does this mean and what new modeling possibilities does it open up? Using an example, this workshop addresses these questions by building a configuration model step by step. Besides to the use of new syntax and the AVC extension of variant tables, the creation of AVC constraints will be discussed in detail. In this context, tips are also given on how individual instances can be specifically addressed and set in relation to each other.
In addition, the processing sequence of the dependencies is explained and an introduction to the AVC trace is given. This workshop is aimed at all SAP VC modelers. No previous knowledge of AVC is required. . |
